The recall, initially issued on February 21 by Danone, has now been classified as a class 2 risk, indicating that while serious health consequences are unlikely, there may be temporary or medically reversible adverse effects from consuming the affected products.
The recall involves two popular flavors: Hazelnut and Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll, sold in 31 states. The affected products were found to have spoiled early, resulting in texture issues that could affect consumers’ health. The company urges customers to stop using these creamers immediately, as the best-by dates have not yet passed.
