DUAL North America, a specialty program administrator and part of the DUAL Group, has announced the appointment of Dwain Chamberlain as Executive Vice President and Head of Specialty Healthcare. The appointment aligns with the launch of DUAL North America’s new Specialty Healthcare program.
Chamberlain, who brings over 25 years of experience in the professional liability market, will report to Chief Casualty Officer Connie Germano. In his role, he will lead the strategic direction and growth of the Specialty Healthcare program.
The program aims to provide comprehensive solutions supporting medical professionals in the healthcare industry, boasting an “A” rating from A.M. Best. It encompasses professional liability, general liability, and optional sub-limit coverage, including HIPAA, sexual misconduct, TRIA, employee benefits liability, and hired and non-owned auto liability.
Connie Germano commented on the appointment, highlighting Chamberlain’s expertise in analyzing complex risks and developing creative strategies for healthcare clients. She expressed confidence in his ability to expand the current Allied Health product offerings and provide broader solutions to the marketplace.
Chamberlain, previously Senior Vice President at Hallmark Financial Services, Inc., expressed enthusiasm about joining an organization committed to innovating and improving the healthcare sector. As the Head of Specialty Healthcare, he looks forward to contributing to the success of the product by meeting the diverse needs of clients.
