MAHA Moms Call For ‘rigorous Transparency’ On Health Concerns

by Shreeya

Mothers across the country are speaking out about their families’ health, with many joining the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) initiative. These moms are voicing concerns about the artificial ingredients in food, the rise in chronic illnesses, and the need for preventive health measures.

One such advocate, Ginny Yurich, a Michigan-based mother of five, drove to Washington, D.C., to support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at his confirmation hearing on January 29. She expressed her concern about the alarming rise in children’s health issues, including allergies and sensory processing disorders.

“We’ve seen a significant decline in children’s health,” Yurich told Fox News Digital. “Allergies and sensory disorders are becoming more common.”

Dr. Ana-Maria Temple, a pediatrician from Charlotte, North Carolina, also supports the MAHA movement. Specializing in holistic treatments for eczema, she believes in teaching parents how to raise healthy children in today’s unhealthy environment.

“I refused to accept that my children would need to stay on medications forever,” Dr. Temple explained. She altered her family’s diet and lifestyle, which helped her children get off chronic medications. This transformation not only changed her family’s health but also influenced her approach in her medical practice.

Hilda Labrada Gore, a holistic healer from Washington, D.C., who hosts the “Wise Traditions” podcast, believes the MAHA movement is crucial. “This movement is an answer to my prayers,” she said. “We need to end chronic disease and help the next generation.”

The movement’s goal is to empower Americans to take control of their health, offering alternatives to pharmaceuticals and vaccines. According to Gore, if Kennedy is confirmed as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), his commitment to transparency will be a game changer for parents across the country.

“Moms need access to clear information,” Gore added. “Kennedy’s commitment to transparency will provide that.”

Zen Honeycutt, the executive director of Moms Across America, emphasized that the MAHA movement is gaining widespread attention. Her organization’s mission is to educate and empower mothers to create healthier communities.

“We need safety protocols before harmful ingredients are allowed in our food supply,” Honeycutt stated, stressing that Kennedy’s push for transparency aligns with this goal.

Despite uncertainty about Kennedy’s confirmation, Honeycutt remains confident in the movement’s momentum. “The MAHA movement is unstoppable,” she said.

Mothers like Denise Aguilar, from San Joaquin County, California, are also advocating for the cause. As a mother of three and co-founder of Freedom Angels, Aguilar is particularly concerned about the ingredients in food given to children in public schools.

“We need to address the ingredients in food that other countries have banned and take steps to heal our children from chronic health conditions,” Aguilar said.

Aguilar also expressed her support for Kennedy’s call to lift the 1986 Act, which limits vaccine manufacturer liability, and for implementing rigorous testing standards for vaccines.

Dr. Dyan Hes, a pediatrician in New York, reminded the public of the historical benefits of vaccines, noting that they have significantly reduced childhood mortality.

Meanwhile, Tara Thornton, a mother from Lake Tahoe, who co-founded Freedom Angels with Aguilar, emphasized the pivotal role that moms have played in the medical freedom movement.

“Moms started this movement, and they will sustain it,” Thornton said. “We need to remove toxins from our food, water, air, and pharmaceuticals to protect our children.”

The MAHA movement continues to grow, with mothers at the forefront of the push for healthier choices and transparency in the health and wellness industry.
