Is the pancreas more on the left or right side?
The pancreas is situated in the abdomen, behind the stomach, and extends horizontally across the upper abdomen. While the pancreas has parts that extend to both the left and right sides of the abdomen, it’s generally more located on the left side.
What are the first signs of pancreas problems?
Early signs of pancreas problems may include abdominal pain that radiates to the back, unexplained weight loss, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and changes in stool color (pale or oily).
Which side is pancreatic cancer pain?
Pancreatic cancer pain can be felt in different areas depending on the location of the tumor. Typically, pain from pancreatic cancer is felt in the upper abdomen and may radiate to the back. It can be difficult to pinpoint, but it’s commonly reported in the upper middle or upper left abdomen.
