Johns Hopkins Health Plans Improving Provider Experience

by Shreeya

Johns Hopkins Health Plans has introduced a new multi-payer portal, powered by Availity Essentials, to enhance the provider experience. This secure platform facilitates real-time communication between providers and payers, offering a range of features to streamline administrative tasks.

Ryan O’Donnell, Chief Operating Officer for Johns Hopkins Health Plans, emphasized the portal’s role in boosting efficiency and simplifying processes for providers within the network. Provider offices can now manage medical benefits, submit and track electronic claims, access claims status and payment information, and handle authorization requests all in one place.
