The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) is embarking on a significant endeavor to improve cardiovascular health with a dedicated investment of $220 million. This Cardiovascular Health Mission aims to unite researchers, healthcare professionals, industry stakeholders, and patients in bringing about transformative changes in heart and vascular health and stroke prevention.
In order to ensure the effectiveness of this initiative, the MRFF has enlisted Policy by Proxy to conduct a mid-term review. This review will play a crucial role in shaping future investments and strategies.
We invite you, as members of the general public, to contribute your insights and perspectives on the Cardiovascular Health Mission, as well as cardiovascular and stroke research in Australia. Your input will be invaluable in guiding the direction of this important initiative.
You can participate by sharing your thoughts through our online survey, which will remain open until June 24, 2024. All responses will be anonymous.
Please note that Lead Chief Investigators who have received, or are currently receiving, MRFF funding for cardiovascular-related research activities will receive a separate survey and should not participate in the public survey.
Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the future of cardiovascular health research in Australia. Thank you for your participation.
